Danny Le is an Arizona-based artist who is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing at Arizona State University. He primarily works with oil paint, graphite, and charcoal. In his art, he depicts somber landscapes and lonley environments. Much of Le’s work is drawn from the suburban desert in which he resides. He paints the sweltering heat of the asphalt on perpetual summer days as well as the cold isolation of desert nights. Le’s art is a reaction to modern southwestern living; he wants to evoke the thought, “there has to be something better than this.”

Danny Le has participated in shows such as the 2024 Arizona Biennial in the Tucson Museum of Art and in exhibitions within the greater Phoenix area. He has received the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation grant to continue his studies at Arizona State. A major influence on his artistic career has been the connections he has made with peers and instructors, as well as within the greater artistic community in Phoenix.
